4.6.3 Narcotics
The use of narcotics causes brain damage, memory loss, etc.
The problem has an impact on family, society and nationwide. However
statistics from the Ministry of Justice showed that the number of drug
addicts has increased dramatically in the last 2-3 years from 112,000 persons
in 2010 to 261,217 persons in 2012. More than 90% of drug addicts were males,
at age 15-19 years and the average age at the first start of using drug was
about 18-19 years old.
