4.2 Illness
Consumption behavior is one, among the others, of the major causes of
population’s sickness, risk behaviors in consumption are such as, over consumption,
consumption of contaminated food, drinking and smoking etc.
The other causes are such as too much stress and no physical exercising,
with these reasons, people are easily get ill with various diseases. In the past 5 years
(2009-2013), proportion of people getting ill increased from 20.3% in 2009 to
21.1% in 2013, the proportions of both sexes getting ill increased from 15.3% to
19.0% and 19.5% to 23.0% for male and female respectively.
The number of people getting ill with cancer was increasing enormously
from 783.6 persons per 100,000 population in 2010 to 862.0 persons per 100,000
population in 2012, whereas Dengue and Malaria was declining slightly; for Dengue,
there were 289.7 persons per 100,000 population in 2010 fell to 188.8 per
100,000 population in 2012, for Malaria, there were 20.2 persons in 2010 and
14.9 persons per 100,000 population in 2012
