2.1.2 Participation in the Labour Force
Participation rate in the labour force was rather high; however, there
were relatively big differences in comparing with sex, age and education levels.
Participation rate of males was higher than females in every quarter, due to their
major roles in the family’s incomes. However, compared to the same period of
2011-2013, the participation rate in the Round 3/2013, decreased from the year
2011 and 2012, due to the damages from the big flood in 2011 which affect the
entrepreneur slow down the employment plan.

The results of the Labour Force Survey showed Labour participation by
aged group during the past 6 years (2008-2013) that population of the last elderly
(60 years and over) had a increase participation rates compared to the others.
