7.3 Juvenile Cases
Department of Juvenile Observation and Protection, where the juvenile
case statistics has been compiled revealed that in 2012 more than 90% of
juvenile offenders were males. Most of them were 15-18 years of age, with
lower secondary and primary level.
The offense related mostly to drugs, from 33.4% in 2010 to 43.1% in 2012,
however to solve these issues, not only the government but also private
sectors should collaborate in setting efficiency plans and policies.
