Meteorology Statistics
Meteorology statistics presented in this chapter have been derived from the Meteorological
Department, Ministry of Information and Communication Technology.
Meteorology
Its statistics presented the data about temperature, rainfall, elevation of station
above mean sea-level, atmospheric pressure and relative humidity. For the matter of mean
temperature, it was computed form the data on dry temperature observation.
In general, Thailand’s climate can be divided into three seasons as follow:
1.
Hot season, it lasts from mid - February to mid - May. Considering its temperature, which
ranges from

, it was regarded as daily hot. The highest temperature, sometime was
over

2.
Rainy season, it lasts from mid - May to mid - October. At this period, it might be scarcity
of rain sometime. Considering the volume of rain in

day, there normally variety of rain volume, as follows:

millimeter;
a few rain as
its volume between

millimeter and

millimeter;
a moderate rain as

millimeter;
a heavy rain
as its volume between
35.1
millimeter and

millimeter and
a very heavy rain
as its volume upper than
90.1
millimeter.

Cool season, it lasts from mid - October to mid - February. Considering daily temperature
